Finally, some long over-due Phantom of the Opera fan art!
I've been wanting to draw Leroux's Erik for forever now!
A friend of mine had showed me a picture of Tom Hiddleston in Crimson Peak, and I thought he looked pretty Phantom-y, and it finally inspired me to try sketching Erik. I really didn't intend for it to be anything more than a sketch, but... Well, I got carried away, as I tend to do. It kind of turned into an experiment with drawing different types of fabric, so it was at least pretty useful. The satin cravat and waistcoat almost killed me, though, despite having reference!

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who thought that Tom looked VERY Phantomy in Crimson Peak! I was actually just now scrolling through Crimson Peak fanart, and stumbled upon this - and I'm a HUGE POTO Phan, so this was a delightful surprise for me. xD Great job with this!
